An essential feature of GamFratesi’s successful 2017 Yuh lamp for Louis Poulsen is its personal character. The light takes up very little space and the shade can be rotated around the stem, as well as raised and lowered to suit the exact needs of the user. It provides glare-free downward light, but the fold of the shade leaves a slim opening at the top for a soft and diffused upward glow. This year, Yuh is being given an even softer, warmer character with a brass stem and a marble base in black or white stone. “Nature meets technology in the new Yuh. It is a very tactile and natural product,” says GamFratesi.
