ROUTE ONE

Best of the Wolds 69 miles Super cycling in quiet dry valleys Prepare for a day of light climbs and descents, surprising­ly sweeping views, and tranquil back roads through postcard villages. Beautiful Thixendale and Millington are the highlights. Enjoy tea in Market Weighton, once home of Britain’s tallest man, and then take advantage of the prevailing wind back to Beverley. ROUTE TWO

Villages and vales 45 miles Hidden East Riding rural gems Yorkshire isn’t all gritty moors and dales. Take time on this allpleasur­e, cakes-and-ale route that feels more like Sunday-ride Sussex. ROUTE THREE

Bridges, boats and windmills 33 miles Quirky mixed bag for easy riders A mixed-ability day out for sturdy bikes. Take NCN1 down to the astounding Humber Bridge, and fly over the waters to Barton for a break.
