ENDURA CHAR
Weight 32g Included 2 lenses, hard case The only glasses here named after a fish (er, why?) come with a couple of lenses, but they should be suitable for most conditions you’ll encounter. The fitted lens is photochromic, which adjusts the tint depending on the conditions, with the second lens clear - when you just want to protect your peepers from detritus or for foul-weather riding. The lenses are vented, with the clear lens also getting an anti-fog finish and ‘super’-hydrophobic coating. It’s the usual struggle to swap lenses, and the photochromic lens doesn’t have as wide a range as some – 22-32 per cent – but we found it fine for bright spring days. They come with a small and practical box, too.
