The Hammerhead U-lock is available with key and combination lock systems. The Hammerhead proved sticky and difficult to open post-corrosion tests, and with so many of the locks tested showing similar results we can’t impress enough how important it is to keep your lock well maintained. The Squire’s bracket wasn’t up to snuff either, lasting a few seconds before ejecting the lock. After that the results are much better, its crop resistance is good, and the same can be said for sawing, twisting, and pulling, the lock remained unpicked but the performance against our angle grinder wasn’t great.
