The optics for the up and under LEDs give a deliberately flat and wide beam spread, which combines with a wireless remote control dipped mode to avoid dazzling oncoming traffic, and provoking full beam revenge. A long battery life and multiple menu options, including excellent DayBright flash, reduce the need to throttle back on the quoted 1200 lumens. Mode and run time are displayed via an OLED back display and rear lights, supplementary batteries and USB charger can be plugged in too. There are 600 (£199.95) and 900 lumen (£244.95) versions available, and UK manufacturer back-up is excellent.
