Weight 260g (25mm) Inflated width 26mm Mountain bike tyre leader Maxxis was early on the road tubeless scene and the Padrone TR SS is a tough and trustworthy tyre. We have always had variable results getting Padrones to pop onto rims and it was no different this time with some wheels inflating with a frenzied track pump attack while others needed a compressor to get them sealed. Once up, it’s a tough tyre with good cut and wear resistance and tenacious grip in all weathers. The dual-compound tread rolls okay on smooth surfaces, but rougher surfaces make it feel surprisingly wooden and draggy.
