STOLEN GOAT

-

WE SAY... Stolen Goat delivers good functional kit here with the addition of their own special eyeforflair

HYPER VELOCITY 19.2 JERSEY £75 SIZES XS-XXXL COLOURS Various

Stolen Goat is not afraid to dazzle but there’s more here than just bright colours. The Bodyline jersey feels great from the moment you slip it on with its fitted cut, soft raw end sleeves and full-length front zipper. Stolen Goat has hit all the important points of a good jersey, too. Along with good fit it does a good job of pulling sweat away from your skin and has three sensibly sized, easy-to-reach rear pockets and a zip pocket for your ride cargo. The quality YKK full-length front zip with rubbery tab is easy to use when you need more ventilation and there’s a garage for added neck comfort. It might not be the lightest or most aero jersey here, but it covers all essential bases well, and it does so in style and without costing a fortune.

EPIC BIB SHORTS £149 SIZES S-XXL COLOURS Black

The Epic shorts are aimed at racers and feel a little odd at first but come into their own and feel most natural in the ride position. Despite being thin and lightweight they offer good and varied muscle support where it’s needed most. The minimalist panel design here also keeps seams to a minimum. The seamless integration of the leg grippers into the fabric is not only neat but truly functional. We also liked the neat graphics here, too. The upper bib straps are wide and use cooling mesh fabric. The inner Vapour pad, which was developed in Belgium, looks a little crude and is wide covering but once again works well out on the road where it matters. This multi-layer pad has internal channels to help with air flow and features an antibacterial treatment. Stolen Goat does things differently to other brands and here the finished product impressed us.
