Mavic’s dedicated gravel shoe is loaded with clever tech. The carbon sole has a bonded rubber tread section that not only provides grip but also gives protection to the carbon. The Matryx material upper is incredibly thin with Kevlar interwoven for strength and protection (it claims it’s 5x stronger than PU leather uppers and 10x stronger than a knit).
