COMFORT FOOD:
I’ve been a devotee of delicious. from the very beginning in 2002, and love so many of the recipes that have become family favourites over the years. Our family hasn’t been able to meet for usual Sunday night dinners these past few months, so I was searching for a comforting and transportable dish to share. Luckily I discovered the lamb shank shepherd’s pie in April’s The Chef & The Butcher (p 38). This slowly cooked lamb shanks dish with crispy golden mash has already been transported across the Adelaide Hills on two occasions to isolating family members!
