Stay hy­drated. If you are de­hy­drated be­fore and dur­ing your work­out, you’ll find it harder to main­tain your BGLs.

Wear the right gear. Whether it’s well-fit­ted footwear or breath­able fab­rics, hav­ing the right out­fit helps pre­vent in­jury and over­heat­ing.

Keep your ex­er­cise space clear of ob­sta­cles so you don’t trip over.

Lis­ten to your body. It’s es­sen­tial to chal­lenge your­self but if you need a short break then rest.

Stop at the first signs of a hypo.
