Oc­to­ber is Foot Health Month. Here are some top tips for foot care from the Na­tional Health and Med­i­cal Re­search Coun­cil:

Test the feel­ing and blood sup­ply in the feet reg­u­larly.

In­spect, wash and mois­turise feet daily.

Wear well-fit­ting and ap­pro­pri­ate footwear and hosiery.

Con­tact your GP or po­di­a­trist at the first sign of any foot is­sues – in­clud­ing dis­coloura­tion, red­ness or swelling.
