MORE OBESE PEOPLE THAN UNDERWEIGHT BY 2022
The World Health Organization has found obesity rates among children aged five to 19 have
risen tenfold in the past four decades, from 11 million in 1975 to 124 million in 2016. Following the largest ever epidemiological study, WHO warns if the trend continues, there will more children
and adolescents who are obese than those who are moderately to
severely underweight, by 2022.
