Storing your raws

-

Because raw files are four or five times bigger than JPEGs, you’ll need more storage space to keep your files safe. Memory cards have never been cheaper and offer the most compact form of storage, but it’s best to organise them so you know which cards are full and which are unused. An easy way is to buy a card wallet. Keep your full cards face-down and your empty ones face up, and you’ll know which one to grab when you’re in the middle of a shoot.
