FLICKR has unveiled its analysis of the cameras used by contributors in 2017. Smartphones dominate, accounting for 50% of photo uploads – up from 48% in 2016 – with all but one of the top 10 devices being an iPhone variant. Only the Canon EOS 5D Mark III, above, breaks Apple’s clear run, taking the ninth spot. DSLRs accounted for 33% of uploads, while compacts took 12% and mirrorless a distant 4%.
