DIFFERENT VIEW POINTS
THE position that you choose to take a shot is the key decision that will decide on the perspective – and consequently the appearance – of your images. So if you’re unhappy with how the different elements of the scene are positioned in the frame, moving your viewpoint is often the first and best thing that you can do to improve your composition. Getting close to the foreground will make it appear much larger in the image, and consequently make the background smaller, emphasising the distance between them. In contrast, moving further away from the foreground subject will make the foreground and background more equal in size and therefore seem closer together.
