Dynamic lighting

By choosing to shoot half an hour before sunset, Hans has captured complementary tones (which are roughly opposite each other on a colour wheel) for a more dynamic image. This contrast in colours makes for a more active composition, and ties in with the dynamic energy of the wave motion flowing through the frame.
