Tweak in Camera Raw
Make basic tonal tweaks and selectively change parts of the image
Once you’ve copied your images to your computer and chosen the ones you want to work on, the next step is to open them from Bridge into Adobe
Camera Raw. ACR pops up automatically when you attempt to open a raw file into Photoshop. ACR’s interface is an array of panels that sits on the right-hand side, accessed by icons at the top, while a selection of useful tools sit along the top of the screen. You can find similar controls in Lightroom Classic’s Develop Module.
Camera Raw is the best place to make initial changes to your images to boost tones and correct problems with exposure, noise or lens distortion. It doesn’t enable you to combine more than one image – you’ll have to go into Photoshop later for that – but it does enable you to make the kind of edits photographers need.
