Setting horizontal and vertical values

It’s usually best to keep the Horizontal Scale and Vertical Scale values the same in the Displace dialog box, but sometimes it might make sense to increase one or the other to create more of a shift on either axis. Here there’s little need for horizontal displacement, as the bulging lines would naturally have a greater effect on the vertical alignment of the sign.
