Settling on the right Vertical and Horizontal values may take a little trial and error, so before you apply the Displace filter it’s a good idea to right-click the layer and choose Convert To Smart Object. This way the filter remains non-destructive, so you can double-click the Smart Filter at any time to try different settings until you find the sweet spot.
