Set up at a lakeside. Place a focal point on the skyline, around a third into the frame.

Use a tripod to make sure you don’t blur the scene with camera shake.

Fit a polarising filter; while looking through the viewfinder, rotate the bezel to get the optimum reflection in the water.

Top tip: Use raw mode, and boost the colour saturation when processing.
