Get to your location before sundown and frame up with good foreground interest.

Place a two-stop ND graduated filter over the lens to hold back some light in the sky.

Shoot repeatedly as the sun sinks and lights up the clouds, lengthening shutter speed as it gets darker.

Top tip: Use a two-second self-timer to avoid transferring vibration to the camera.
