Sometimes it’s more effective to shoot a sweeping vista with a telephoto zoom lens rather than a wide-angle optic. In this shot, Jan used an unusually long focal length of 400mm to isolate a line of trees from the wider landscape. The rhythmic shapes present a new and refreshing take on a classic view.
