A quick guide on how to make your camera, video and printing kit virus-free – with thanks to Canon

-

With new cases of Covid-19 still being reported, it’s more important than ever to keep all your equipment sanitised. Canon recently released a quick, helpful video on how to clean your camera and printer setup.

Whether you’re the only one using your kit or you’re sharing it with your family or household, it’s crucial to keep everything that you handle clean and sanitised – especially since your camera comes up and makes direct contact with your face, as well as your eye area. Although Canon’s guide is a video produced with Canon cameras and printers in mind, its cleaning tips can be applied to any similar equipment.

Canon emphasises that these sanitisation measures are no guarantee of eliminating Covid-19. But they are great ways of safely cleaning and keeping your imaging equipment as safe as possible.

The video is only 43 seconds long, but if you’d prefer to see the key points in a step-by-step guide, then read on…
