DNA: Tell us a little about you and how you got into escorting? Jacob Levy: I’m 23 and from Sydney, Australia. I first started escorting in early 2013 when I met my boyfriend, Beau Valentine, who was working at an agency. Together, we moved to another Sydney agency and slowly gathered a few regulars and began working strictly privately by October. Are there things you won’t do with clients that you do with your boyfriend? Buy a dog, which we did! Her name is Isis. What do you like about escorting? That no two requests are ever the same. I have met people from all over the country and from all walks of life and still enjoy the feeling of delivering ultimate customer satisfaction. What are your strengths? I have established a strong relationship with my regular clients, many of whom have seen multiple escorts before me. I keep hearing that they enjoy the more personable service I offer. I am very open-minded and have the view that nothing is weird, just different to what you’re used to. What are your weaknesses? In my younger years, I indulged in Sydney’s party scene a little too heavily. I still remain easily persuaded to make terrible, but often fun, decisions because of my party philosophy! But nowadays I’m a bit of a clean freak and gym and health food junkie which results in me wasting countless dollars on organic and whole food options. What have you learnt about yourself since you started escorting? I have broadened my sexual boundaries in so many ways, more than your editor will let me say! Other aspects of life that seemed completely ridiculous to me before have now become clearer due to the fact I have learned there are a million paths to happiness and every single person walks a different path. The trick to escorting is to “escort” each person along their own individual path. As a result, I have become more empathetic, a better judge of character, braver and developed more confidence than I ever thought possible. Was escorting what you thought it would be? Honestly… it wasn’t as first. But after leaving the agency I discovered it can be completely what you make of it. I never take any job that I don’t want to. Therefore it is exactly what I want it to be and I can give it my all. What do you like to do with clients? What do I like to do? Shopping! But it isn’t about what I like, is it? Most of the time I enjoy a dinner or at least a drink at the commencement of our time together. Just to get to know each other face-to-face and give me a chance to learn the client’s specific desires and expectations.

I’ve learned that there are a million paths to happiness… The trick to escorting is to ‘escort’ each person along their own individual path.

What do you appreciate most from clients? Respect is number one. I really love it when I am contacted by someone with a particular goal in mind – whether it’s to boost their confidence at a school reunion or to experience male intimacy for the first time – and then afterwards receiving a message or a call describing exactly how they felt about our time together. What was the craziest request you received? To be “owned” by a high profile client as a live-in. How did that work out? It didn’t. What’s your advice to guys wanting to start escorting? Merely to be completely sure this is the type of industry you wish to enter into. Many see the promise and allure of big dollars and being portrayed as this figure of ultimate desire but, without the personality and work ethic, many end up finding that isn’t the case. What’s your long-term goal? To earn enough money to buy a house with my boyfriend.
