Pale pink rose, crisp and dry, is consumed like water in the south of France. It also has an alcohol volume of 14 percent and before you know it, you’re crawling on the f loor like Patsy from Absolutely Fabulous. Sip on this one at B, the hotel’s poolside bar, before donning your gladrags and hitting Les Caves du Roy, that infamous discotheque (and home to Eurotrash) which has seen the likes of P-Diddy, Naomi Campbell, Bono, Beyoncé and the Beckhams. Terrible music, over-priced drinks but this temple of Tropezian nights remains a must for any visitor to St Tropez.

IT’S A CLASSIC
