DAVID BOWIE – NO PLAN

Featuring the three final studio recordings Bowie made before his death last year, the No Plan EP is one of those numbed special collector editions housed in white vinyl to get die-hard fans excited, plus some special “lithograph” artwork that apparently sells for extortion-like amounts on eBay these days. If that wasn’t enough to thrill Dame David fans then what about the fact the vinyl versions also features a special laser etching on the B side? Rolling Stone gushed, calling Dave’s No Plan ballad “a magnificent coda… one last transmission from the Bowie universe”. That might be something of a stretch. When was Bowie ever known for his ballads? But its poignancy is not lost now after his death. Blub.
