Children is the first Australian LGBTI film to get a digital release on iTunes in 2017. Set before same-sex adoption became legal, the movie follows a closeted celebrity game show host and his partner who buy a baby from a young heroin addicted woman in their quest to start a family.

The mother returns three years later with her drug dealer boyfriend to take back the child and upends their lives. Squires and Gunn have great onscreen chemistry and the film has some of the most tender gay love scenes to appear in an Australian movie to date.
