And Grace reunited for a “one-off” 10-minute special in September during the US election which was watched by over 7 million people. NBC must have liked those numbers because they commissioned another 10 full-length episodes to begin screening in the second half of the year.

The original cast and creatives who worked on the show over its eight years will be returning – and so is the original set. It had been on permanent display behind glass at a Boston university’s library since the show ended in 2008.
