Here’s what Katie did next! The Aussie songstress has teamed up again with guitarist pal Karin Schaupp to croon and swoon their way through the Latin American songbook. That means a gaggle of exquisite jazz and classical pieces from the musical masters of South America or, to put it simply, mucho bossa nova, samba, salsa and tango. “In this, our third release together, I feel like Karin and I have made our best work yet,” Katie insists. “Playing with Karin is like f loating on a gorgeous cloud. It is such a pleasure to make music together and this new selection of beautiful songs has been our most comfortable musical home yet.” The good news is the duo are touring their new Latina diva album throughout Australia (as part of the Spiegeltent) over the coming few months.
