New Zealand men who have “conviction­s of homosexual­ity” on their criminal record may have them expunged. Justice Minister Amy Adams says the bill she has introduced will give the government “a chance to express its regret” and officially recognise that the law was wrong. Homosexual­ity was decriminal­ised in New Zealand in 1986.
