PRODUCT PICKS

QUIP ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH

With this funky toothbrush I love cleaning my teeth. Its bristles vibrate for two minutes and pulse every 30 seconds to give a great clean in hard-to-reach areas, and a nifty cover hygienically stores your brush at home or on the go. Made slim and light for gym bags.

BULLDOG SKINCARE FOR MEN

The secret to the success of this brand is simple. Great formulations, natural ingredients, and inexpensive. Their hero product, the Original Moisturiser, is Bulldog’s bestselling product worldwide, with one sold every 15 seconds, allegedly! But it’s their beard oil that I’m crazy for. It’s an exquisite blend of oils to soften facial hair that, quite frankly, leaves some of the more expensive brands for dead. I’ve even been putting a few drops in the hair on my head (while it’s damp) each day before I style it and I have been getting compliments galore! [Insert hair flick!]

PRORASO BEARD BALM

The local barber that I see each fortnight to keep my beard looking spiffy is the perfect mix of bearded-tattooed-Italian deliciousness. He could recommend motorcycle grease for my beard and I’d buy it. So, after my first visit, when I found myself with this product, I thought it’d end up in the bathroom cabinet with all the rest of my ridiculous-gay-man impulse purchases. However, after just one use, I fell in love. Beard balms are designed to soften your beard and refresh the skin and this one is great for just after your beard has been trimmed. I’m now in a monogamous relationship with the balm, sadly, not Alejandro.
