This boundary-busting hottie brings Asian realness and chastity fetish to gay porn.

DNA: What brought you to porn? Cagedjock: In the summer 2015, I was unemployed. I had time on my hands so I decided to start a Tumblr page, just for fun, to document my sexual adventures. I used to work as a designer so I knew about brand identity, composition, colours and storytelling. At this time, I had just discovered the chastity fetish. It was so fascinating! I didn’t know such a thing existed. Being an experimental person, I decided to give it a try and loved it. I gave my new kink discovery an identity with muscle and sports gears and that’s how the Cagedjock persona started.

Is the Cagedjock persona only about chastity? No, Cagedjock isn’t limited to chastity; it’s more of a sexually experimental image.

You lock your cock in a cage and you let your dominant partner hold the key.

So porn came next?

Long story short… I found a new job but I was physically and emotionally fed up with the fashion industry so after a year I decided to leave. By this time, my blog had over 100,000 followers. The Cagedjock identity and the followers were established so I took it to the next level. With the encouragement of my followers I ventured into the adult world.

Are you happy with that decision?

It’s the best decision I’ve ever made for myself. I have no regrets.

You’ve said that coming from your cultural background, doing porn isn’t considered acceptable. Can you elaborate?

I was raised in Texas, I currently live in New York City, and have Cambodian, Vietnamese, Indian and other south-east Asian countries in my heritage. In general, sex is a very taboo topic to discuss in Asian cultures. Topics about sex are considered vulgar. It isn’t as openly discussed as in Western culture. Asian children are raised with aspirations to become doctors, engineers, architects… Our parents consider

these “real jobs”. They want us to be happy, they just don’t realise that happiness comes in different forms. I was raised in a traditional family but from a young age I was very openminded and totally experimental. The only way for sex work to become acceptable is to discuss it more often. I once read something in an article, which I like to quote: “exposure creates acceptance”. Social media is helping to connect the world and modernise people’s mindsets to be more progressive.

With your newfound porn fame, are you are becoming more recognised, and how is that for you?

It’s a little bit weird. It’s hard to grasp because growing up I was not very attractive, so I’m very humbled by the recognition. I’m flattered, and always very thankful for all the support from my fans. I get a lot of messages from my Asian fans saying, “Thank you for putting Asian in porn”. I never thought I’d get that kind of message and never imagined how much of an impact it would make. Representation is so important. Being seen is so important. It makes you question your identity less. Congratulations on raising the profile of Asian performers in porn and almost singlehandedly bringing chastity fetish to the mainstream.

Did I really? [Laughs.] It’s always been there and people have been doing it for the longest time. I’m glad to see it took off in recent years because it is such a sexy fetish.

Can you explain how it works?

For those who aren’t familiar with the concept, it works like this: you find a cock cage that matches your anatomy. You lock your cock in a cage and you let your dominant partner hold the key. This person decides when and how you can cum. You’re basically handing the power to your partner. Sounds strange but it’s a multimillion-dollar business.

What are some common misconceptions about chastity fetish?

Too many! A lot of information online comes from bloggers with too much imagination! It’s important to do your research when looking into a certain kink that you want to try. One of the most common misconceptions is around pain and urination. It’s only painful if you don’t lubricate the cage and if you get the wrong size, the wrong material or the wrong model. A dry cage is like a car with no oil. Also, remember to shave or the hair will pull. As for the right cage, you will need to experiment and do research. It’s similar to dating, you probably won’t find the perfect cage on your first try. I wrote a descriptive instruction on how to find the right size at my site, cagedjock.com/advice.

Is it possible to pee while wearing the cage? Yes, there’s a hole at the end.

Is this fetish, and wearing the device, really only for devoted BDSM people?

Wrong. You don’t need to be a devoted BDSM practitioner to dip your toe into this kink. It can be for short-term use to add some extra spice to a relationship. It’s also for both gay and straight couples. You don’t need a partner to practice chastity play. You can be your own keyholder. Never give your key to anyone you don’t know well. What if they don’t give the key back? You need to be happy with your own self-lock practice first while taking the time to find a partner with similar interests.

When you’re wearing the cage, does it hurt when you’re erect?

You can get an erection while caged but it won’t grow fully. It feels more like a restrictive sensation. It actually feels really good. You just need time to get used to it. Mind over matter. Discomfort from night-time erections is common. Just give the body some time to adjust to the change. The body is very adaptive. Chastity implies that you don’t get to have sex or to cum.

The biggest misconception is that you can’t orgasm. The truth is you definitely can. You just need to do it with the approval of your dominant figure. You can also learn to cum during penetration, also known as an assgasm. It’s about depending on your partner to achieve pleasure thus strengthening the bond between you.

What’s your social life like? Are you out all the time or are you a homebody?

I’m a big homebody! I actually know a lot of homebodies, which make me feel less weird. I did all of my partying in my twenties. As you grow older your tastes in socialising also matured. I love visiting museums, galleries, exhibitions, dinner with my friends or taking my dogs to the park. My ideal Friday night is camping on the couch with a fluffy blanket, a pillow, my dogs next to me, watching Netflix

and eating pizza. Occasionally I go to the bars or the clubs for a change of scenery. I’m not a prude. Well, just a tad.

Does working in porn mean you get to travel a lot?

This is the best part of my job. I love to travel! Last year I went to 11 cities. It absolutely opened my mind and I became wiser through travelling. I usually hit the big cities where most performers are located so I could film contents: Chicago, DC, LA, Florida, Vegas, San Fran. I hit up performers in advance to schedule my shoots. When I book a place to stay, I make sure the decor is plain and simple because I don’t like busy backgrounds, it’s very distracting to my videos. The environment needs to highlight the subjects. I also make sure that the place has a kitchen because I like to control my intakes. During my filming trips, I get very focused. I make sure I gather as much content as possible to make it worth the money. It can be very lonely traveling alone, but I’d rather travel alone than be stuck with bad company, which has happened to me before. Mistakes make you grow wiser.

You’re one of the big indie porn guys. Have you worked with any studios and how was that experience?

I’ve worked with a few studios. Studio work is more about exposure as they have a large audience, which is good for your image. The cons are that it can be very scripted and the scene partner you get might not be your type. I have a solid fan base, which allows me to work and be financially independent, which I’m really thankful for because I can control the script and my image.

Do you think sex work will ever be decriminalized in the USA?

When you look back at what we have achieved, socially, there’s been a lot of progress. I remember the days when gay rights were nearly invisible. Brokeback Mountain lost the Best Picture Academy Award to that mediocre movie Crash! But things have changed and I believe that sex work will eventually be decriminalized. It’s unfathomable to me that gun rights have more acceptance than sex rights. No government should have the right to tell grown adults who they can have sexual relations with and on what terms. Decriminalizing sex work will create a safer environment for the industry because sex workers won’t have to secretly work in environments that are unsafe. It also allows them a foundation to raise their concerns to authority without the fear of being prosecuted.

Do you think indie porn sites have brought a new crop of performers into the mainstream? I’m so thankful for the rise of indie porn sites because they provide a platform for someone like me to express my individuality, which doesn’t fit the status quo. I could never be where I am today without Onlyfans and Justfor.fans. People are hungry for something different. Mainstream porn companies tend to operate on a certain formula and they also promote toxic masculinity – these studios often have one specific male image that they gravitate toward and they won’t change their casting direction.

It’s unfathomable to me that in the USA, gun rights have more acceptance than sex rights.

My success is a vindication that being different is an advantage and race has nothing to do with opportunities.

The US government is gradually restricting the rights of women and the LGBTIQ community. How do you feel about this? Is this something you use your platform to discuss?

I can’t believe it’s 2020 and we’re still fighting for the rights of women and LGBTIQ people. It’s ridiculous. Do you know what the issue is? The issue is that lots of people didn’t vote. If the young people came out and voted we wouldn’t be dealing with this administration, which is forcing us backwards. I’ve been very vocal and informative in regards to urging my followers to register to vote by providing links and information on voting. I also use my platform to raise money for charities. Anyone who donates at least $10 to the charity organization of their choice can get access to my fans page for 30 days. No strings attached. Just email me the receipt.

What’s the most common assumption people make about you?

That all I do is have sex. That I’m available for sex 24/7, any day, any time, any location and with anybody.

How important is sexual attraction between the performers when collaborating on indie projects?

Before I reach out to someone, I do research about their work to see if their vision aligns with mine. Research is very important. Casting purely on visuals without consideration of chemistry is a formula for disaster.

How do you maintain balance and personal relationships outside adult work?

I have pretty good time management skills. Sex work is like any other work: you still gotta work hard and put 100 per cent into it. But once the work is over, I go home and spend time with my dogs. They are the love of my life. I also make time to meet up with my friends and do cultured activities. I actually don’t like to have sex when I’m off-screen. It’s too much. If someone hits me up for coffee or a movie then I’m always down but if they hit me up for sex, I usually turn them off. I have a friend who works as a chef. He doesn’t like to cook once he’s done with work. He prefers to eat instant noodles when he gets home.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Having Asian genes I think I can last another 10 years. Asians don’t age! But I also know I cannot do this forever. I save my money so I can invest. The Cagedjock identity is unique and it can be taken to another level. I have some plans in the works… One step at a time. I was able to grow a blog into a business;

I’m confident that more good can only come out of it.

At the pointy end of the interview, what are your basic stats?

I’m 33 years old, 175cm, [5’9”], 72kg [160lbs], uncut, and 10 inches… just kidding!
