Played in front of a supportive ground the team controlled the game from start to finish in their best performance of the year.

After the disappointment of extra time loses in rugby league and boys soccer in the corresponding rounds, high hopes were held for the hockey team.

For the first time all year, Dubbo College was able to field its strongest team and it showed in the performance where the defence was very solid and the attacking end created numerous opportunities through great variety.

Dubbo College scored in the first ten minutes when Maddi Café finished off a short corner and subsequent goals to Chloe Towers and Brittany Shean had the score at 3-0 at half time. The second half saw Brittany complete a hat trick of goals while Chloe Ariesen and Brook Pilcher also added their names to the scoresheet.

In a tremendous team performance, there were many strong performances.
