THE THUMBS

-

Thumbs up to the kind citizen who found my licence and placed it in my mailbox. Faith in humanity restored!

Thumbs up to the person who found a parcel I left in my shopping trolley in the car park under Coles a couple of weeks ago and returned it to Robyn’s Kitchen. Thanks so much I really appreciate your honesty.

Thumbs down to the female driver who flew around the corner at the Darling Street lights, on a red light, almost killing my son and another child who were crossing on a ‘green man’. Quick thinking on their part saved their lives but you should be ashamed of yourself.

Thumbs up to Lisa and staff at the Cobra Street Mini mart. The food is always fresh and great value for my big family. Your service is wonderful!

Thumbs up to Chris at Dubbo East Post Office for exceptional great service to all his customers. Very much appreciated.

Thumbs up from the Two Annettes to the mystery lady who shared our table at the Church Street Cafe last Saturday, and left before us then we discovered she’d paid for our meals! We want her to know we are very appreciative.

Thumbs up and thank you to the young lady who anonymously paid for our pre-luncheon drinks at the Short Street Cafe on Thursday, August 3. While celebrating a birthday, four of us were aware of our over enthusiasm and thought we may have offended ... but no... she was delighted to see mature ladies enjoying themselves so much.

Thumbs up to Fantasty Dubbo Dancesport for a great Retro Ball on August 19. The dance floor was never empty and Dubbo’s dance talent shone again.

Thumbs up to staff at Lion’s Pride restaurant for a fantastic night and to Gemma for being so warm and welcoming and giving great service.
