Dubbo Netball crowns champions for 2017
FOR the first time since 1971, Dubbo Netball grand finals were played without “The Matriarch” scanning her knowing eye across proceedings.
Nita Mcgrath lives on through the courts that bear her name. Her loss late last year along with the passing of the tireless administrator Alison Cullen has left a hole in the sports ranks, however the legacy of these generous spirits was in show last Saturday.
Mel captured action across the grades and has many more great action shots available. We have chosen a selection and thanks to DNA’S Karen Weekes we have been able to identify most of the players.
