As someone whose job is to predict the future, what does Eades see coming for Relentless and the industry in the coming years? “The sort of area I’m really interested in exploring – and does this a bit – is where digital interactive entertainment marries traditional forms like TV and film,” he tells us. “The segregation of games from other entertainment is going to disappear – you’ll have people [asking], ‘Do I want to watch The Killing or experience it?’ and you’ll be able to hop in and out. That’s where I think it might end up, but who knows? I just hope that we’re still doing good work and enjoying the art of games while also being successful.”
