Audible through Lella’s car radio, the game’s soundtrack, composed by Nicolò Sala, goes a long way to helping flesh out the game’s acute sense of place. Touching on prog rock, scratchy post punk, and even new wave, it’s a fine foil to the blazing countryside and dilapidated coastal towns you’ll drive through. The soundtrack might be short, with only four tracks commissioned for the game, but the songs are memorable, framing the melancholy and rebellion at the heart of it.
