I believe we’re designed to squat when we poop. Sitting on a conventional toilet can block our natural flow and cause strain. Resting your feet up is said to help you release quickly and completely to aid detox. Game changer.

It’s a masticating one that doesn’t use an engine or heat, so it preserves enzymes and slows down oxidation, plus it’s easy to clean. You can’t beat a fresh, homemade green juice. It’s how I start my day.
5. VITAMIX Ascent Series A2300i Blender

I make my own almond milk, which is creamier than the packaged version and has no preservatives or chemicals. It blends into an espresso perfectly. I also blend soups, baby food and sesame salt.
INFRARED SAUNA ($45 for 45 minutes, nimbusco.com.au)
An infrared sauna is my all-time favourite healing tool. I feel like it enhances my overall wellbeing. Having a sauna session, for me, is dedicated time to slow down, read, meditate or connect with a friend who joins you.
