FEMME TO THE FRONT

On her journey towards sustainability and self-love, Amanda Essery made it her mission to create period products that are better for your body and for the earth

- EMPOWERING WOMEN THROUGH SELF-CARE Amanda Essery

We’ve all worked hard to make self-care and sustainability a priority in our lives, curating eco-conscious wardrobes and creating wellbeing rituals. But when it comes to our period products, self-care is often just an afterthought.

That’s why Lovekins founder Amanda Essery has launched a range of feminine hygiene products that are good for the environment and your body. Her big idea began as a quest to find a treatment for her newborn daughter’s dry skin condition, so she decided to create a line of natural, skin-loving products packed with Australian native superfoods from her hometown of Darwin that would make life easier for mothers and babies across Australia.

Throughout her journey, Essery came across women from all walks of life, and became inspired to make wellness a priority for women now and for future generations. And so Lovekins Women was born.

The Lovekins Women range includes Daily Liners and Ultra Thin Pads, with new ultra-absorbent disposable Sanitary Pants that offer the ultimate protection for all-day comfort.

The wellbeing brand is the first Australian brand to pioneer the usage of the non-adhesive core technology, eliminating the need for toxic glue to bind the core of sanitary pads — better for your body and the earth. Each product is made with luxuriously soft natural Australian cotton, completely free from toxins and sensitive skinfriendly. Each design is made with you in mind, boosting confidence with a contoured fit, breathable construction, and options for every day of your cycle, so you’re covered no matter what your flow. Lovekins Feminine Hygiene range is certified toxic-free and vegan certified.
