Enduro Tags will have on display, and are taking purchase orders, for their unique high retention and highly visible livestock tags and their NLIS cattle electronic tags and NLIS sheep tags.

The Enduro NLIS cattle tag has extremely high retention with a 99.8 per cent retention record on our trial farms to date including their dairy and two southern beef properties.

While conventional cattle tags relied on one central anchor point with a flange on the back of the ear, this new generation design ensures the surface area at the back of the ear is less likely to snag with fences and scrub and is better anchored in place with the two prongs and locks.

Dr Steinfort said dairy, beef and sheep producers are welcome to visit their site no C7 at Farm World and sample the technology.

Samples are available so dairy farmers can check out their high electronic read performance from which they can expect excellent retention.

Our Enduro cattle RFID tags are NLIS registered and although not subsidised as yet by the Victorian Goverment, they are cost effective when applied to your replacement heifers - as they are designed for long term retention and electronic functionality. “They can also see our range of management tags and dairy and beef high tags, also being highly visible with excellent field retention.

“Producers are looking for a tag they can apply to a calf’s ear at marking and be confident in the knowledge it will still be there when the animal is eventually sold,” he said. Enduro Tags are solely Australian owned and manufactured.
