Bygone Architecture rebuilt for modern living

-

Our forbearers would be amazed at how comfortable their iconic cottage has now become thanks to Swenrick Constructions (Vic) and its modernisation on such a well recognised Australian cottage design.

The company is thrilled to be presenting its Blue Gum Cottage Range, which is a series of homes that tips its hat to a bygone architecture that still evokes the romance of the bushman’s hut and the simple needs of the colonial family living a solitary life in the harsh Australian outback.

The high pitched roof, vaulted ceiling and shady verandah are still there, as the double hung windows and external awnings – protection against the relentless sun and flooding rains.

Swenrick fits out its cottages with stylish kitchens and electric appliances, purpose built vanities with modern vitreous china, plus ensuite to the master bedroom if required.

The range comes in not only the one bedroom design but also two and three bedrooms, or your own take on the design.

Swenrick Constructions have been building all over Victoria for more than 40 years having built approx 4500 homes in that time, consisting of styles that look to the past such as our contemporary Woolamai and the innovative off shoots it has spawned. Swenrick encourage client participation in the planning and building of their home.

Swenrick will be exhibiting at Farm World site GIP22.
