Like the Suzuki B-King, this is fairly simple on paper – a naked Super Blackbird with a little less top end. Launched in 1999, it largely disappeared without a trace, since the hyper-naked class hadn’t been invented yet. It was too big and heavy to go toe-to-toe with something like a Speed Triple, yet too modern and ugly to match a ZRX1100 either. Now, they’re proper unusual, and something for Honda collectors to obsess over in 2030, no doubt. Linked brakes are a bit wank, but the engine is still lovely: fast and smooth.
