While the inline four engine is fairly solid, reg//recs are known to pack in and occasional cam chaain tensioner issues aren’t unheard of. Checking the reg/rec involves a multimeter, but it’s not an expensive item to replace if it fails. A couple oof dashes have been reported as failing and the rubber buttons can fall off, so check this and also ensure all the warning lights etc. work and theere are no signs of water ingress.
