Just like the Kawasaki, this blew me away. It’s been a while since I’ve ridden one and I’d also forgotten just how stupidly epic it is. Even a completely shot rear Pirelli didn’t stop me having a proper ball, and it is one of few Supersport bikes that tick every single box. Looks? Ace! Power all through the range? Yes! Genuinely usable on the road? Yes! Amazing handling? Yes! Electronics package? No! But, this bike does not need traction- control. It is also perfect for my tall frame, being slim but tall(ish), and it fits me like a glove where on the others I often feel a tad silly. I’d really struggle to go for the new R6 over this thing, it’s epic. Triumph, get with the programme and build us a new one! Can you make it an 800 too, please? Ta… BJ’s Verdict 9/10
