There’s an article in Yamaha’s ‘Insider’ magazine about Valentino Rossi searching for that perfect ‘10th’ title – but can he do it? Do you want him to do it, and if so, why? Some would, we imagine, because he’s The Goat in many folks’ eyes, and they want to see him lift the title one more time. Others would too, we also imagine, because if he makes it 10 then he may finally bog off and do something else! By the same token, who doesn’t want him to do it, or doesn’t care, and why? What say you?

Goat? Ahead of Agostini? Are you mad? Rossi has won his one race of the season. Pedrosa will clean them up in the back half of the season. Hopefully, Dovi will keep them honest.

I’d love to see him win it and then go World Superbikes on an R1 to see what he could do there.

He has absolutely NOTHING to prove. 10 titles would be nice, but come on, only one man has more than him... one man! I’d be sorry to see him retire, but the sport would go on and still be exciting (just not as much).

I think the old has-been should move over for a younger rider.

All of the current title contenders are super competitive and deserve to win. As far as Valentino Rossi VR46 Official is concerned, he is very competitive too and has a good chance to clinch his 10th title and anyone who is competitive deserves a place in the grid, regardless of his age. Age is just a number IMO.

I do want him to do it because he is definitely one of the greats, and he is a real character to have around. But I also stuck a tenner on Viñales to win the championship this year at 8/1...

I love that people who intimate that he has lost it or is too old couldn’t pass him if he was on a motability scooter. He’s doing better than most even at his age and has said that when he is no longer competitive he will indeed jack it in.

I always thought he was class and he will always be class regardless of a 10th title. But it would be mega if he did do it!
