IT’S ALL ABOUT THE BUTTONS!

No, it’s not a PlayStation controller, or a finely ornamented display of M&Ms. The right cluster houses Mlav’s power/ ignition/dash and starter buttons. On the left cluster sits rain light, ignition map, fuel map, and engine braking map buttons: at the end of the race when grip levels diminish, Laverty can switch to a different map to give the bike less engine braking during corner entry. Instead of locking the back, it pushes the bike like a two-stroke and can actually improve handling as grip disappears.
