Honda’s Fire Blade was so dominant, that the idea of making an 1100cc version seemed genius in 1997. As it turned out, it was a little less amazing, but later injected ones were proper gentleman’s expresses. 180mph on the clock all day long, and it could be yours for around a couple of grand? But be warned, because they’re no featherweights and the anchors require a good bit of squeezing if you want to stop before that road junction two miles away. Or you could just ride slower? Nah!
