EXHAUST VALVE

The Daytona has an exhaust valve (located in the pipe under the engine), so just give it a quick inspection and ensure it is opening and shutting. Over time they do seize, but the newness of the R makes this a fairly rare occurrence on used models. If you are unsure, you can access the valve by removing the metal cover to see if it is turning.
