PRIVATE SALE OR DEALER?

When buying second-hand this is the biggest dilemma. If you buy from a private seller you can haggle and are almost certain to pay around 10-20% less than from a dealer.

However buying from a dealer comes with some security and a short warranty, which is reassuring. This is your choice and you have to weigh up the options. If you are spending big money then a dealer is often the best route, however for a cheap hack you are probably better off going private and taking the risk.
