BOOTHY'S BLUFF

I’ve done tons of miles on this bike and for a cheap run-around I don’t think you can fault it. With (by today’s standards) a lacklustre 90 something brake you have got to work a bit harder to keep up with the R1 brigade but with a bit of commitment it is entirely capable and it will leave your mates reaching for their excuse book as to why they couldn’t drop you.

Looks-wise, well the CBR leaves a lot to be desired. It’s got to be one of the ugliest CBR 600s ever made, on a par with the old jelly-mould model; but hey, it’s not a fashion show… is it?
